The Underground Mining Industrial Network Specialisation course is designed to give you a deep understanding of underground mining, focusing on planning and designing operational technology (OT) networks using industry best practices.
You will learn how to install, manage, configure, and verify advanced IPv4 and OT networks through classroom training and hands-on labs. The curriculum encompasses in-depth configuration of network elements like switches, WoCs, Wireless APs, and Veto PNA and Endpoint devices, along with network device management and identification of basic security risks.

- Understand the functionality of various networking tools such as network analysers, network monitoring software, remote access tools, Wireless network management systems, etc.
- Work on lab exercises to determine the Effective PoE power budget to avoid overloading PoE switches.
- Understand the thorough planning and design of OT networks, integrating best practices from the industry.
